AUS-8（8A）鋼は、日本の愛知製鋼に製造されるステンレス鋼材（モリブデン鋼）です。
錆びにくく、切れ味に優れ、研ぎやすさと扱いやすさが特徴ですが、VG10などの高級ステンレス鋼と比べると刃持ちはやや劣ります。
AUS-8 (8A) steel is a stainless steel (molybdenum steel) manufactured by Aichi Steel Corporation in Japan. It is resistant to rust, offers excellent sharpness, and is easy to sharpen and handle. However, its edge retention is slightly inferior compared to high-end stainless steels such as VG10.
